“I am a Bay Area native and have lived in Oakland Ca. most of my life. Joined the Marine Corps in early 2001 and was an Airframe Technician on CH-53D.
I am a Political Science Major and have focused in international relations. I am also a Chicano Studies Minor and look forward to collaborating the two fields to improve ties with Latin America”

“I was raised in the Coachella Valley, and lived in California for most of my life. I served as a 2146 Main Battle Tank Technician from Nov 2011-Nov 2015.
I am an English major, and Education minor in my last year of undergraduate studies. I plan to return to the Coachella valley to teach high school and give back to my community.
This club is important to me, not only a student who enjoys interacting with other student-veterans, but also as a veteran who found the transition to education difficult. The Cal Veterans Group was just the thing I needed when I transferred here, and I want to keep this club successful”

“I served in the Marine Corps from 2012-2016 as a 0311 Infantryman. I am an Economics Major, and I am interested in working in Finance. The Cal Veterans Group is an important community for me, as it provides me and many other veterans an opportunity to come together and share our experiences as we pursue our education. I am excited to see this group grow, and encourage any student veteran to be part of our community!”
